Chalk Line is celebrating classic Spider-Man and future Spider-man with our Spider-Man 2099 Poster Retro Shorts! These Retro Shorts are inspired by a Marvel Comics poster from the '90s.

Created by Peter David and Rick Leonardi in 1992, Spider-Man 2099 was a futuristic re-interpretation of the original Spider-Man character created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.

Miguel O'Hara, a geneticist living in the city of Nueva York in the year 2099, attempts to re-create the abilities of the original Spider-Man. The experiment is sabotaged by a jealous subordinate causing half of Miguel's DNA to be overwritten with spider DNA. Miguel survives, but he grows claws and venomous fangs and soon realizes he has new abilities that surpass even those of the original Spider-Man.
