As Ghost Rider, Blaze wields supernatural abilities and burns the souls of those who harm innocents with his infamous "Penance Stare." Due to his supernatural abilities, super strength, and near immortality, he is one of the most powerful characters in all of Marvel Comics.

Ghost Rider first appeared in Marvel Spotlight #5 in 1972. He was created by Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich, and Mike Ploog.
